SAMANTHA GONZALEZ-BLOCK TO BE ORDAINED at PCUM on August 14th! All members and friends of the Presbyterian Church of Upper Montclair family are warmly invited to the PCUM sanctuary Friday, August 14 at 7:00 pm to join in the ordination of our own Samantha Gonzalez-Block to the ministry of Word & Sacrament as a Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). A reception will follow in Fellowship Hall.
This celebratory service of worship hosted by our Newark Presbytery, includes ministers and elders from area Presbyterian congregations, and, along with loved ones and fellow PCUM members, will feature guest leaders from First Presbyterian Church, Brooklyn, where Samantha served as a seminary intern, and Asheville, North Carolina's Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, where Samantha has been called to begin her ministry and serve as Associate Pastor.
